My Story....
I was born in Mexico and raised as a catholic, my entire family is catholic. A few years ago I was working at an insurance agency and my co-worker was a Seventh-Day Adventist. He was a 76 year old sweet man. We became really good friends and I would tell him my problems and worries and he would always give me advice and would read me some Bible verses to give me hope. I started to view him as my second dad. Little by little he talked to me about God and would read the Bible with me. I really don't know when but after some time I became really interested in learning more about the God that gave my co-worker peace, hope and wisdom but above all, love. He invited me to church with him and I went. I really liked everything about the SDA Church, they gave me some books to study and I was baptized a few months later. However, my conversion did not come until about a year after I was baptized. I lost my job, my father died and I felt like I was lost. That is when I started seeking God, or should I say he continued to look for me and talk to me. I started to read the Bible more and pray to God asking Him to guide me. God is so good to us by explaining every little thing to us like a father would do with his son. I have been reading and studying the Bible along with the Spirit of Prophecy and I have been understanding more about the reason for my existance. I know God has a great plan for my life and for my family. After studying, I understood I must surrender everything to Jesus and we started making changes in the way we dress, the type of music we listen to, the way we eat, the things we watch and our entire lifestyle changed. We understand we must do everything for the glory of god.
Why I Want To Be Trained....
My husband and I have been talking for some time now about dedicating our lives to serving God and others. It is something we feel in our hearts, we want to stop living for us and start living to serve others. We know this is the mission that God gave us and we want to do it and teach our daughters the same. We know we can help people now but we feel if we get prepared we will be able to help more.
What Will I Do With This Training....
After studying, we would like to go work as medical missionaries. We are looking at going to bolivia to work as missionaries. We are praying for this but we will go wherever the Lord leads us. It is a little scary for me because I don't know what God has prepared for us but I know I have to trust the lord because he has something wonderful planned for my life and my family.
Please Prayerfully Consider Supporting Me
